About Us

Based in the North East of Scotland and incorporating members from Aberdeenshire, Banff and Buchan and Morayshire. FOCUS is a non profit-making association of craft workers run by crafters for crafters.

It was formed in 1997 out of the Gordon Craft Association which had existed since 1989, and is dedicated to giving it's members the best shop window possible at the best price, while also providing a quality service to customers. Friendliness and mutual help are valued qualities among the membership. FOCUS presently has in the region of 70 members.

If you personally make handcrafted items to a high standard, and would like to join our group, then you might like to submit some examples of your work to the Focus committee for adjudication. It is our primary aim to provide high quality handmade goods to the public which are all made by our talented members. The sale of imported items (even if handcrafted), or items made by someone other than the member are strictly forbidden.
