SLATE PAINTINGS & SEA TUMBLED POTTERY

Passionate about reusing found materials. Living on the East Coast of Scotland has been a source of inspiration for me.
My art journey began around 5 yrs ago when I found some small pieces of sea washed slate along the shoreline, it was a medium I loved to paint. I quickly found some local old farm buildings that were being taken down and with permission collected some of the roof slates for a larger canvas.
Over the last year I have been collecting other items along the shorelines. Now Sea Tumbled Pottery has also become a medium I love to work with.
