Victoria Potts is a mixed-media artist based in Aberdeenshire. Here, she takes inspiration from the dramatic landscapes and wildlife known to the Northeast of Scotland which she is immersed in daily through working in forestry. Graduating with a Bachelor of Design in Textiles in 2019, sustainable design was the main theme of her degree, which is still reflected in her current work today. Victoria aims to keep her work as environmentally friendly as possible with all packaging being either recyclable or compostable.  She works with several different mediums namely watercolour, gouache, and pencil to create depth and texture within her paintings. Selling a mixture of prints and originals, her style ranges from stylised depictions of animals and flowers to detailed landscapes. The prints are printed on high-quality organic paper that mimics the texture and feel of watercolour paper. Victoria also turns her paintings into patterns, which can be seen on the beeswax wraps that she waxes and packages herself.
