I was born and raised in South Africa, adopted by Scotland and now married to a German. LillaLu-C started out as a hobby and has developed into something close to an obsession!
I’m convinced epoxy resin has a mind of it’s own, which makes it all the more interesting to work with. Every piece created, starts off as an idea in my head, and then the resin decides if it agrees with my idea. We then work together to create something that we are both happy with. It is teaching me patience and compromise. Like me, resin is stubborn, so we get to celebrate our stubbornness and turn it into art.
As a nurse, I believe in making people feel better, so I enjoy making products that provide positive affirmations, or just make people smile. In crafting LillaLu-C products, I’ve found joy that I’d love to share. LillaLu-C resin items are created in Ellon, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, and shared around the world.
